Drewry Farm & Orchards is family owned and operated, starting out 30 years ago with one acre of land and a small garden, Now after acquiring acreage as it became available through the years Drewry Farm & Orchards consist of apx 100 acres of land that include Peach, Apple, Plum and Cherry trees along with several “garden spots”.
Kenny now raises annually over 6 thousand Watermelons, tons of Cucumbers, Squash Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Tomatoes Pumpkins, Okra, Turnips and whatever else he can find room for.In 2008 Kenny & Nancy along with their 3 daughters, a son in law and the grandchildren were chosen as Pope County Farm Family of the Year, Mainly recognized for the amount of Vegetables and Fruit that He and His family raised with no outside help.
In 2009 the Farm added a Health Department certified Kitchen on the property, Our baked goods are made fresh never frozen or from a mix, .. oatmeal raisin or oatmeal nut cookies, terrific Peanut Brittle that fly’s off the shelves, Peach Pecan Muffins and Zucchini Bread Muffins.
Just recently a new Chicken Coop was built to house about 200 free range Chickens fresh free range eggs will be available. The Farm will also start selling Fresh Raw Honey in the Fall of 2010, The Honey Bees are located in Russellville and Dover area.
Spring 2011 a Green House will provide plants, fruit trees, and vegetables.
